Hi everyone...
We are Verena & Dominique, two volunteers with a heart for children and a passion for meaningful change. In collaboration with Project Sandbox, we're launching a powerful initiative in Senggigi, Lombok.
Building a brighter future for Children in Senggigi
Several afternoons a week, we offer a warm and joyful space for 20 children aged 7-12 who live without a steady support of family. These are children who deserve more than survival, they deserve attention, play, and encouragement!
Through fun English lessons, creative workshops, sports and music, we aim to nurture confidence and curiosity. We also provide a healthy snack or lunch during each sessions.
In addition to our weekly sessions, we arm to organize occasional excursions, small local outings that open up the childrens‘ world. Wether it’s a trip to the beach, the rice fields, a community kitchen or museums, we believe in learning beyond a classroom. These shared experiences not only build education but connection, curiosity and lifelong memories.
Our goal
To give these children a place to feel safe, seen and supported, even just a few hours a week. In addition to that we are plannung on creatin a community space. A safe and joyful home base where children can learn, grow and belong. A place that offers stability, care, creativity and connection, for times after school and when families are absent. A space shaped with love.
To do this, we need YOU! Your donation helps us to provide materials, transport and food. Every single penny builds up the chance for a peaceful future for these children. They deserve it!
What will we do?
- Provide playful English lessions

- Offer games and sports sessions
- Create a dance project
- Create a supportive environment that builds confidence
- Supply educational, creative and hygiene materials
- Organize excursions like museum, nature, swimming pool, community kitchen

- Buy school supplies (notebooks, pens, learning cards)
- Purchase art and craft materials (paint, paper, markers)
- Provide sports equipment (balls, skipping ropes, cones)
- Offer basic hygiene items (toothbrushes, soap)
- Cover transportation to and from the project site and to excursions
